Reservation and Payment
How do I make reservations?
To make reservations, please email, call, or fill out the booking request form on the website.
Will I need to make a deposit?
Yes. The deposit is 20 percent to hold the boat.
Should I pay in pesos or US dollars?
We accept both pesos and US dollars as payment.
Is your price per person or per boat?
Our prices are per boat.
How many people are allowed on board?
Our boat can handle groups of up to 15 people.
What is included in the price?
In addition to your fishing trip, you will be provided soft drinks and water.
Do you offer shared fishing charters?
We do not offer shared charters. Every charter is a private group.
Should I tip the crew?
Tips are always encouraged and very much appreciated! We recommend 20 percent of your booking price.
While Onboard
Are there bathrooms onboard?
We have three bathrooms on board.
What should I bring?
Feel free to bring alcohol and snacks onboard the boat. We provide water and soft drinks.
Do you have storage onboard?
Yes.
What if I get seasick?
Unfortunately some people don’t handle being on the water well. If you know you’re susceptible to getting sick on a boat, we suggest taking motion sickness medication prior to the trip. Once onboard, there’s no way to leave if you don’t feel well!
Is the crew provided? Do they speak English?
We provide the crew and they do speak English.
What if the weather is bad?
If we are unable to charter your fishing trip because of the weather we will refund your money.
Can I snorkel on my trip?
You can snorkel on your trip, just be sure you bring the equipment!
Can children come on board?
Yes, children are welcome to come on the boat.
The Fish
What types of fish will I catch?
There is no guarantee you will catch a certain type of fish or any fish at all, however the fish you’re most likely to catch include Mahi, Sail, Tuna, Wahoo, Snapper, Marlin, Sword, and Grouper.
What bait do you use?
We bait our hooks with Ballyhoo.
How far out will we go?
It depends on where the fish are biting that day. Typically somewhere within five minutes of departure.
Am I guaranteed a catch?
No.
What happens with the fish I catch?
You can either keep the fish or give it away to the crew for their families.
Will you freeze and ship my fish to me?
We do not currently offer this service.
What is offshoring?
Offshoring is deep blue fishing, but there is no need for it in the Caribbean Sea.
